What are the differences between solid compress silicone rubber products and liquid injection silicone rubber products?

     --Solid compress silicone rubber products cycle time shorter than liquid injection silicone rubber products

     -- liquid injection silicone rubber products flash and appearance better than Solid compress silicone rubber products

     -- liquid injection silicone rubber products flexibility, lifetime, transparency better than Solid compress silicone rubber products

     -- liquid injection silicone rubber products to make colors and hardness are more complex, and need to use around 20-30kgs material to wash machine.  Solid compress silicone rubber products to make color and hardness are very easy.

     -- For some complex structure, liquid injection silicone rubber mold can make, but solid compress silicone rubber mold may can not.

--LSR injection nipple transparency higher than solid hot compressed nipples

-- LSR injection nipple flexibility higher than solid hot compressed nipples

-- LSR injection nipple biting force test better than solid hot compressed nipples

--When produce LSR injection nipple, material was sealed and goes into the machine automatically. But for solid hot compressed nipples, from material mixing to put into the machine need worker’s hands operate.

Two ways, one is there is a self-stick material which can use to do injection of over-molding, but for this material, not for all kinds of over-molding material, some can stick well, some can not, and the price is around 3 times higher than normal LSR material. Another way is to use special glue to stick.

No, only special glue. LSR is very stable, especially after molding, it would be very hard to stick together.

-- Liquid silicone rubber seal ring surface are more smooth than solid silicone rubber seal ring.

-- Liquid silicone rubber seal ring thickness are more equal, so, sealing better.

-- Liquid silicone rubber seal ring flash better than solid silicone rubber one.

7. Q:

liquid silicone rubber injection technics and solid silicone rubber in hot compress technics, which mass production capacity larger for same products?

A:  solid silicone rubber in hot compress production temperature are around 180-230 degree, but liquid silicone rubber injection just around 110-160 degree, so, solid silicone rubber in hot compress production capacity are higher.

     --Metal: stick well, and temperature resistance also well.

     -- Nylon: stick is the best of these 3 kinds of material, but for colors, not so good in control.

     -- High temperature resist PC: both stick and temperature resistance are not as good as metal and nylon.

As the material need to arrive into the mold, it need to go pass from a long material pipe, and the material is viscous, so, even a little bit black material stick in the pipe, when produce other light or transparent color products, the products would be rejected. And even after 1-2 months, sometimes, still will come a little bit black dots.

Yes, texture would be the best, it can enlarge surface for glue sticking with the product, so, the different parts can stick more strong together.
